10 Science Fiction Illustrators You Should Know

Flavorwire

We’ve been big fans of Swedish illustrator, animator, and graphic designer Kilian Eng for some time. Eng’s science fiction-inspired artworks are architectural, elegant, and punctuated with electrifying colors. They also channel the iconic illustrators from the past — especially French legend Moebius. It’s no wonder the artist’s monograph Object 5 has been out of print, but publisher Floating World Comics has reissued the book as a European album hardcover with 16 new pages of art. Wait…What?: Archie Meets The Punisher

New Things are interesting…usually!

The Nostalgia Blog

Just 3 years after Archie and the gang got a visit from The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Riverdale had a new more…ah…different kind of visitor. The Punisher. Yes, the dark comic anti-hero from Marvel known for ya know, killing people.

Review: Archie vs Predator Issue 1 (of 4)

Hmmmm!

Travelling Man's Blog

Script by Alex de Campi

Pencils by Fernando Ruiz

Inks by Rich Koslowski

The biggest difference is that it is now a horror title. I already covered the upcoming ARCHIE VS. SHARKNADO title being released on July 22, 2015, but there are other really fun horror-themed ARCHIE comics as well. In May we saw the first issue of ARCHIE VS. PREDATOR, and just recently issue #8 of AFTERLIFE WITH ARCHIE went on sale. Award-winning writer Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa and Eisner-winning artist Francesco Francavilla collaborate to bring the apocalypse to the world of ARCHIE that is both gruesome and heartbreaking. Seriously, this is a great comic!! Check out the plot crunch:

“A Ghost Story.” Contrary to popular belief, the current zombie outbreak is not the first time a shadow fell across Riverdale and its citizens. As the survivors hunker down in a…
